We had a wonderful return home on July 5th around 2 PM. The Hirschenfang-Dix four-legged tribe welcomed their new brother to the household with calm and curious warmth. Piper in particular seems to have 'adopted' little Dayton.We spent the afternoon adjusting to our new life in old familiar surroundings. Thanks to Amanda for coming by to check on us and give us diapering and breastfeeding tips. Thanks to Ashley and Josh for groceries and dinner!
Our first night home was not insane, due to a wonderful night-nurse named Christi. Dayton is proving to be a hungry boy, which is to be expected. Our first appointment with the pediatrician is tomorrow. Jill's Mom arrives today to meet her first grandson.
