We are feeling even more thankful and lucky now as we approach our two-day mark of being home with Dayton. He has been absolutely incredible. We are all feeling great. Dayton even seems to have his days and nights straight (Jill knocks on wood)! We can't wait to find out his weight today at his first pediatrician appointment. He definitely seems to be filling out more.
Jill's Mom arrived yesterday to meet her grandson. She's been a big hit with Dayton. Mike and I took our first run outside the household this morning to go to Target and left Dayton home with his Grandma. We came home to find him happily propped up on this boppy with entertaining toys laid around him. He is now fast asleep in that very position.

Jill, I almost FREAKED out when you used the language "we took our first run"... I thought you were going to say that you were already getting back to working out! Glad to hear that the RUN was just to Target.
ReplyDeleteSounds like all is going well. Enjoy these days - even the sleepless nights because things change quickly and then "the newborn" is 15 months old.
